anyone here weird noise when accelerating??

Recently I have noticed, with the manual trans... when i accelerate,
usually from a roll into second gear, and push significantly on the
gas.... a weird noise is comming from the transmission or something.
Almost sounds like something is loose. It is a metalic type sound.
Not if I put it in first and stop on it, i don't usually hear it, but the
car winds up so quick and loudly maybe it's just not noticeable over
the engine. Mainly if I take off in first, shift a bit early (1500-2k or so)
then put it in second and stop on it, is when this noise occurs.
Is something wrong??

Sounds like the furbelow may need adjusting. That or your shifter is rattling from the VQ37 tractor motor.

I do not have such sound during acceleration. Take it to the dealer while it's still under warranty.

When I step on my gas petal from 2nd gear my car makes a crazy LOUD roaring sound, while turning everything around me into a blur.

pretty crazy.

I may have the same thing. 1st gear go to say 3k or 4k rpm, DE-celerate, then clutch and you get a chung chung chung chung type sound like something is loose and hitting. I brought it to the dealership for warranty work and they said def something wrong they needed to keep it for a day. The next day the service manager called and said there was no issue and thats what a "high tension" car sounds like.

I'll see about later taking some sounds of it to confirm we're hearing the same thing
