Car wont turn over, wheel lock fix not working

Hey guys,

My 2010 370 was stolen from my driveway and I recently recovered it but now it will not turn over. It gets stuck in the lock position unless I put the fob in the slot to the left of the steering wheel in which case it skips accessory mode and goes right into the on position even though the car doesn't turn over.

When it is in the on position nothing I do will turn the car off unless I disconnect the battery leaving me in the same place I was to start with. When the car was stolen I had the key the whole time which lead me to believe they programmed a new key to start it as there was no damage or forced entry and everything was exactly how I left it after a lengthy inspection.

I tried having a locksmith reprogram my key which did nothing. I have tried the DIY fix as posted here: http://www.the370z.com/diy-section-d...ilure-fix.html
The car refuses to go into acc mode so I cannot complete this method.

At this point am I forced to take it into the dealership or is there something I am missing?

How was it stolen? meaning, did they F**k with the wiring? Under steering column and under hood?

None of the wiring seems out of place under the steering column, however the fuse box under the hood specifically the wheel lock 10a fuse shows signs of being pulled before because there are some scrapes on either side of it. The cover you have to take off before you get to the box was definitely messed with as well so I’m pretty sure they were in there.

I'd start investigation there.
