Passenger Airbag Light Stays On and Codes

Hello all, need some help. I’m starting a new thread on this because the others I found on the forum didn’t seem to be of help.

My passenger airbag light is staying on even when people above the weight threshold are sitting in it. The airbag dash light is also consistently flashing. I have done the stupid button reset a million times. It worked when the issue first arrived but has since not had any effect. I currently am throwing two codes B1052 and B1057 for a driver side air bag short. The reader also showed past and not active codes for the same thing for the passenger side as well as a passenger occupancy sensor fault. I assume this is the issue as to why the light is on. But not sure what steps I should take to fix it, as they are no longer showing active besides the first two. I have checked the connectors under both seats, checked the air bag fuse, I see no issues.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all!

In case anyone has the same or a similar issue. I found out after having Nissan reset the light that the problem was my passenger occupancy sensor. Have Nissan reset the light first and then re-diagnose when it comes back on. It was throwing false codes before Nissan reset. I swapped the lower cushion of the seat with a working one and voila! No more light!
