370z Tire Spare Still Flat

I changed my flat to the spare and it looks flat. Normal? Or is it part of a bigger issue?

If you have a space-saving spare, it will be smaller than the other tires. More info in the Owner's Manual (if you don't have a copy, you can download a PDF from NissanUSA's web site).

I see you have a 2010? Don’t discount the fact that the spare may just be low on air. :twocents:

Spares won't look flat. They're at like double the normal tire pressure.

So, it's flat.

That'll be $80.

This. Haha. I changed my girlfriends spare recently on her lexus and it was at like 30psi since it was never used in 4 years. Pumped it up to 60psi or something.

Took it to discount tire and they said they didn't want to fill it up anymore on the risk of it exploding?? Says it was at max pressure.

You should be at 60 PSI on a fully inflated spare tire for the Z. What PSI did Discount Tire say they stopped at? A properly inflated spare tire will not look flat when installed. Got a pic?

He said it was at 60. I don't have a pic anymore. I have replaced it already.
