Is the CSC covered by the powertrain warranty?

My brake fluid (clutch fluid) is low (below MIN) so I am getting it flushed and replacing it with some fresh fluid. Clutch feels fine for now, but I am told that this is a symptom of my CSC going bad. Would it be covered under the 5-year/60,000 mile limited powertrain coverage?

Im not for certain, but yes I believe it is. The only problem with that though, is even if they replace it with another one, the issue can still arise. The best and only way to my knowledge to fix the issue is with the Zspeed CMAK delete.

They've claimed that it isn't covered many times. It's kind of a coin flip. Also, the ZSpeed heavy duty CSC is also an option as the external slaves often do not work if you're planning to add turbos down the line.

OP. your best bet is to try and make a deal with the dealership. Bring them the CSC option you want, and they install it.

Chances are the dealer will try to get out of covering it. But you don't want them putting another OEM CSC in there anyway. If you have lots of service done at the dealership ask them for "good will" coverage. The best solution is you buy one of the ZSpeed aftermarket options and the dealer covers installation labor.

Got it. Thanks guys. I actually started noticing the odd pedal feel after I picked it up at the dealer. As terrible as it sounds I really hope that the reason that my fluid is low, is because they drove my car really hard and just boiled the fluid. I will flush and replace it with new fluid today.

So far I have had 2 replaced and each time was covered. The 2nd one made it by a month before the warranty ran out, funny thing is I seen the bill the 2nd time... mid 300's for parts and labor...
