Coming up on 60k miles, what to service?
I have a 2014 370z touring sport roadster 7AT. I bought brand new. I'm coming up on 60k miles. I want to do a thorough service since I haven't really done anything other than keep topping off fluids and consistent oil and filter changes. I want my car to last as long as possible. Also, it's mostly city miles and I drive really hard. So I came up with a list of things to do. I plan on doing it all myself. Is there anything I should change, add, or remove from the list? For some, maybe do a drain and fill instead of flush? What do you think? Thanks.
1. Oil and filter change. 2. Engine air filter change. 3. Cabin air filter change. 4. Replace spark plugs. 5. Coolant flush. 6. Brake fluid flush. 7. Power steering fluid flush. 8. Transmission fluid flush (I know it says that the 7AT is lifetime maintenance-free, but it can't hurt to replace the fluid, and it's probably better for long-term) 9. Differential fluid flush. 10. Re-grease axles. |
Spark plugs are likely fine. Coolant is probably fine as well (if you choose to do it make sure you have the right tools - air is easily introduced into the system if you don't). I'm over 100K and only now considering them.
All the rest of that is good stuff. And easy for the most part. For any fluids, I would do a full drain and refill with fresh fluid (or at least remove as much old fluid as possible - ranger method might be easiest for PS fluid). If the brake fluid is pretty filthy, you might consider changing it more frequently. Trickiest item left on the list would be the AT fluid - you have to check the fill level with the fluid at a certain temp. There is plenty of info on the forum about it. |
Might want to check the brake pads and tire wear(alignment)?:driving:
