warranty up 9/28/18

car has been splendid, no leaks, breakdowns, codes, original tires 50% , 21K on adult driven car...only issue i have is weatherstripping at bottom of drivers door where my shoe has worn it away in/out..
any benefit to me for letting them give it the once over, anything i should be looking for or asking for?

Im guessing they wouldnt find anything to fix under warranty for you. lol
Ive got 60k on my 2011, I changed the throttle position sensor recently.. other than the 3 engines I went through before I hit 24k due to oil consumption, shes been solid.
I managed to convince Nissan to extend my engine/drivetrain warranty to 100k, unlimited years for my troubles!
I have the dealership do all of my oil changes since day 1, so they can't try to get out of anything in the future as well.

At that mileage and your described driving habit, I wouldn't worry about it one bit.

I currently have:
  • 09 370Z - 6MT 35k miles
  • 10 G37S - 7AT 52k miles
  • 11 FX50 - 7AT 72k miles

So I have two cars that have the VQ37, and two cars that have the same 7AT. All have Akebonos. The only two "problems" I've ever gotten were busted diff bushing on the G (known problem with the liquid filled bushing), and fuel level sensor malfunctioning on the FX (another known problem), and neither were catastrophic nor complicated/expensive to fix.
