intelligent key issue forced safety mode

Hi all,

I was out for the weekend in my 2015 Nismo enjoying some spirited driving and camping. Saturday night, no troubles and the car is happy. Sunday morning, the car is very unhappy.

I first noticed the "key" light, so I figured my battery was low. Almost immediately, the ABS and tire pressure lights jumped on, then the brake light (although the brake was not on), the speedo died, steering assist left and the light that is right next to the traction control light (and looks almost identical) appeared. The car acted like every system had failed (cruise didn't work, nor did synchrorev match).

I went to Ace to get a new battery but the car wouldn't shut off. Put the new battery in the fob and no change. Ultimately, I got to a safe place and forced the car to shut down. Tried a few restarts, no change.

I had lunch and about an hour later, the car was fine and I was able to drive another 150+ miles home with no troubles. The only material change to the system was a new battery in the key fob. Maybe the system needed time to reset?

I've got a track day next weekend, and this has me a little nervous. Has anyone had their intelligent key system do so much damage?
