car wont go into acc mode

In the information display it shows a steering wheel with up down arrows on both sides and also a button being pressed (i assume start button) The brake is also stiff. Does the display indicate that there is a steering wheel mechanism failure? .

if it is the steering wheel lock mechanism failure then according to this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NcOFJgJ_iS0
I can just manually push the steering wheel lock back in, disconnect the fuse and the error code on the information display will hopefully be reset once the two buttons on the back of the mechanism are in contact with the lock.

RTFM. If you didn't get one with your Z, follow the FSM link in my sig. Grab the FSM while you're at it - great reference for technical questions.

When the car is off, you have enough vacuum stored for only one to three pedal presses. After that, it gets stiff.

The ESCL will not prevent the car from going into ACC mode.

Had me worried for a bit but the ECSCL was the culprit and the reason the car couldn't even trun on. Solution was I took it apart and hardwired it to make it seem like the 2 switches were always on on the circuit board. The car runs and is fine except the key icon is lit up on the perimeter of the information gauge.
