Me vs dealer. Help

I need any help I can get.
I have a 2014 sport automatic bought new currently 15k miles.
Last month the car suddenly went on limp mode on the highway, where i couldnt go faster than 30mph. Luckly i was close to dealership.
They said i needed a valve body. Took them a few days and was fixed under warranty. However on my way back home, the car would not accelerate while sitting at the light, until a second later...then violently the car would jump forward....feels like brakes are "stuck" or maybe trans issue?
Took the car back, and duplicated the issue to tech on a test drive...he acknowdleged. Few days later, they called me and said "nothing they can do, cause its normal"!!!!!
:shakes head:
Called nissan corporate and they instructed me to get a second opinion.
Any ideas?

did you shut the car off after this at all and let sit?

mine did something similar like 3 months into owning it. wouldn't rev past 3k-ish.

I shut it down, let sit for 15-30 min, restarted it and it was fine.

the tranny has many fail-safes that will throw it into limp mode if it thinks anything is wrong at all.

if it replicated multiple times though then it may be legit dead.

Yes i did. The problem continues.
It happens everytime i hit the brakes firmly to stop. Then i hit the gas, car dont move as RPMs go up...then jumps.

Take it to another dealer. Your warranty is with Nissan, not the dealer.

Sounds like dirty or bad MAF.

You might also pull the negative battery cable for 10 or 15 minutes, then try it again.

Corporate said get a second opinion?

And you guys question why I hate Nissan so much, lol.

Go to another dealer, but best of luck, keep calling corporate to make them aware. I think you need to push for an entire trans swap. Say you do not trust the techs, your life is in the hands of someone who is not as trained as the factory, etc. be very courteous with the person(s) you talk to at corporate. They're not on your side, but they're kind of all you got

Try another dealer for sure.

Another dealer, and try to take a video. If YOU can recreate the problem, before you go in, ask for the GTR tech, see which service guy works with him, then see that service guy...

Then when you go in (make sure the tech is there) and take him on a test drive.

Correct. I have an appoint. this Thursday at a different dealer where hopefully I can talk to the GTR tech.
Corporate made it clear to me they can only work with me as long as the nissan tech finds a "problem".

torque converter stall speed/rpm problem?

Update:
I took the Z to a different dealership and I was able to get the GTR tech looked at my car.
Today I received a phone call, telling me they found metal shavings after the 1st dealer installed the valve body, making all components of the transmission fail.
Nissan have agreed to install a NEW transmission with all the parts necessary, and my car should be ready by Tuesday.
Best news I've gotten lately.
Thanks to all of you guys that helped me here with suggestions and everything else.
More updates next week when i finally get my car back.

Glad you got some satisfaction. I'd raise Cain with that other dealer.

Finally, my Z was fixed under warranty.
And it feels good to know there are good Nissan techs that are willing to work for you.
Thank you Bill Kay Nissan in Downers Grove, IL.
And thanks to you guys for all the suggestions you provided me.
