You're a very lucky man. Since they're supplying the labor, ask them if you can provide your own aftermarket csc and master cylinder for them to install. Saves you from having to go through this again later down the road.

see if they'll install aftermarket one for you

I don't know about lucky though. I'm pretty sure he's still within the 3yr/36K mile warranty. Lucky would be if they covered it under the 5yr/60K mile powertrain warranty.

I had same issue with my 2013 Nismo. I'm tracking mine maybe 7-8 times a year. First stuck clutch pedal happend fortunately on a cool down lap at MSR Houston. The track shop flushed my system with Motul 600. Everything worked done for rest of track events, but pedal stuck at home about a week later in city traffic. Fortunately. I have a great dealership. They know I am tracking the car. When they checked it out, the CSC had failed (it has plastic parts near high heat sources). Transmission also had metal shavings in it. They replaced my transmission under warranty, and at no charge, put on my aftermarket Z1 performance CSC, South Bend Stage 2 clutch and lightweight fly wheel. Have had two track events (COTA and TWS) with no issues. They even do my pre-race tech inspections at no charge as well. But too bad Nissan doesn't redesign the CSC to a more robust one.

I'd consider that as lucky IMO. It's uncommon that the stealership would offer to replace the csc on first visit. As we have seen in the past, the they usually just fill it up with new fluid and send him on his way until it fails again then he's sol because the 3 yr warranty had ran out

Heard back from the dealer. I asked him how replacing the damaged CSC with the same model CSC would solve the problem. He said Nissan is replacing it with an updated part and it's not the same one I have on the car. It's taking a few days for it to get here.

Has anyone else heard of this?

Sounds like the typical bull crap coming from a sevice manager. I think Nissan would have released some type of TSB anouncing the updated csc by now.
