hope you didnt go to town with brake cleaner while your wheels were still on the car :ugh: that stuff + brake dust can stain your wheels.
worst case your wheel weight tape is also weakened..

no worries, i took the time to jack up each corner and took the wheels off prior to spraying away. i wanted to check the brake pads on both sides of the rotors to ensure they were good. honestly, that stuff dries up really fast. it evaporates as fast as i can spray.

i use a dentist mirror to check pad thickness on my akebono's + flash light. no need to remove wheels from car... or raise it for that matter.

Also some brake cleaners will eat through and degrade your caliper dust sealing rings so be careful with spraying that stuff everywhere.

i was actually thinking about that too and decided to use the non-chlorinated CRC brake cleaner. and of course im paranoid about everything, so i literally had a can of compressed air and even though the brake cleaner dries fast, i still sprayed air to dry faster and then sprayed down with water.
