wrapping my 2010 370z

I was thinking about wrapping 370z roadster its cherry black color since am living in dubai and its sandy weather here so i endup washing the car almost everyday and still dosent look clean for more then 10 hours with time i noticed that when there is sand on the paint and i wash it i endup with micro scratchs on the clear coat of the paint whichis really ugly when the lights hits it .... i tried waxing the car didnt change much only small diff , so any idea how to remove those scratches as a biggening and then a m thinking of wrapping my car with pearl white since it can handle more dust plus nismo stripe so it will fit the cherry top and finally plasti dip my oem rims with smoke silver or black ..... so anyone have done this combination of colours on the 370z or atleast have a pic for such thing?!

Don't ever run your wash mitt along the car if there's sand or other debris on it still. Wash that $hit off with a powerful spray of water first (or even a presoak if necessary).

Waxing doesn't remove scratches. Polishing does that. If they are through the clear coat, not even polishing will remove them. Check out Junkman's videos on Youtube. He is the demigod of detailing.

IMO vinyl is ugly compared to well taken care of paint :twocents: My Z is my DD, and while it does stay dirty for weeks on end sometimes, I take very good care of the paint. When she gets a full wax treatment, people are amazed when I tell them its almost three years old. They usually respond oh well she must be a garage queen, and then are really amazed when I tell them she has almost 60K miles :driving:

Wouldn't wrap it if I were you. That pearl white wrap will stain like crazy and be even harder to maintain then a dark paint color. I loved the matte red I had on my car and it did pass the 6ft test but I definitely wont ever wrap a car again.

Just my :twocents:
