Very unique set of rims. I am not sure at the moment if this rims are going to for Roadster ONLY or they will offered on the regular Z as well. Also, could these be the 40th anniversary "special" rims? I do like them

I still haven't slept! :icon14: But yeah, those rims looks pretty nice. clean look to them.

eddieconfetti 09-12-2009 06:26 AM

Me too. Still didnt go to sleep. From what i see, i think the 19 in. sport rays is still better looking that those wheels.

Minicobra1 09-12-2009 07:02 AM

going to bed soon, the sun is about to come up LOL Those wheel are pretty cool, have to wait and see how they look in person.

dainedazz 09-12-2009 07:43 AM

they look ok.
doesnt attract my eyes though..

i personally think the sport package are the best oem z34 rims.

nogoodname 09-12-2009 07:45 AM

they really look like 18's..... doesnt look too appealing

zman1910 09-12-2009 11:37 AM

Probably the touring model w/o sport 18" base rims. I think the base coupe rims look better than this. We saw pics of these a while back on a spy shot and it didn't look good then either. Looks better here bc the photos are "dolled" up

Really? I thought the opposite ... too busy

When you look at these rims, do you see 5 spokes, comprised of two smaller parallel spokes "I I" ........... or do you see 5 "Y" spokes?

:iagree: However on some of these type designs, my eye goes to the "Y" in the wheel, this one however goes to the parallel lines first.

I like it!!

CrownR426 09-12-2009 01:25 PM

Love the convertible but not feeling those rims at all...
I think the sports package rims are better.

6MT 09-12-2009 01:32 PM

I actually like the 19" 2009 sport rims better. From the pics, they look OK.

Togo 09-12-2009 02:00 PM

I think Nogood might be right about those wheels being 18"s. I also think the current 18"s look better.

I also see it as a " I I " formation vs. a " Y " formation

Either way, Ray's Sport Wheels FTW!

I Reserve judgement till I see them in person, the pics were taken to far away.

Concur!

I saw these yesterday on the new nissanusa.com/zroadster site in the gallery. I beleive that they referred to them as the "polished wheels" and they are shown with the NISMO aero kit. It's the last pic in the exterior photos.

ConchZ2 09-22-2009 09:10 AM

The antenna is pretty ugly.

I don't like the looks of the antenna or the placement but you can't just "move" it unless you like holes in your trunk lid.

DJcuetip 09-28-2009 11:24 PM

looks like a little hamster or mouse =(

The "base" of the antenna is a little larger than the sat radio antenna currently on the coupe then there is the "stalk" sticking out of it. Not only is it something of an eyesore but it's also going to make mounting a spoiler (for anyone who wanted one) a problem.

I don't even know why they think a stalk is needed (I don't think it is) but I can think of several better places for the antenna than where they placed it.

John Bradley 09-29-2009 10:32 AM

Its my understanding that Nissan will sell a replacement for the stalk antenna that sits right on top of sat one.. only 2" tall..

DropTopGal 10-14-2009 11:51 PM

Has anyone else noticed that the car on display seems to be overseas, perhaps in Japan. The rear "fog" light is installed and the Fairlady Z emblem, not 370Z. Perhaps those wheels are not for the US market.

Either way, I love the 370Z Roadster!

FuszNissan 10-16-2009 12:52 PM

They are the Z wheels. I just saw the wheels in the bodyshop parts online catalog. They are coming probably on the base roadster.

Wow, they DO look like the Audi R8 convertable wheels.

Eric 11-21-2009 10:18 AM

I just brought my Altima in for an oil change this morning and while I was waiting I had time to check out the Z's in the showroom. They had a white 2010 Roadster on the floor with those rims and I have to say that I didn't much care for them. I like the 19" sport rims a lot more.

Robert_Nash 11-21-2009 10:56 AM

I suppose it's all a matter of taste...I've got (and I love) the 19" that come with the sports package but I like these new rims they are putting on the "non) sports packaged roadsters; I think they are lot more attractive/distinctive than the base wheels that are put on the non-sports packaged coupe.

Eric 11-21-2009 11:48 AM

What I'd really like to see on the Roadster is the Nismo rims.
