It just slips over the stock sport spoiler, in comes in Frp or CF. Here's a few with it on my Z. http://i1109.photobucket.com/albums/...Z/S1035057.jpg http://i1109.photobucket.com/albums/...Z/S1035065.jpg http://i1109.photobucket.com/albums/...Z/S1035068.jpg http://i1109.photobucket.com/albums/...Z/S1035070.jpg http://i1109.photobucket.com/albums/...ps27583b47.jpg http://i1109.photobucket.com/albums/...ps2c1c983c.jpg http://i1109.photobucket.com/albums/...ps694dbdf3.jpg |

Small problem: There is no stock sport spoiler for the Roadster. I spent a year and a half looking on here and beyond before I installed an aftermarket spoiler. Nobody speaks of successfully installing a stock Nissan coupe sport spoiler on a Roadster. It appears that the closest we can come is the Spoiler Solutions spoiler, and it's not likely to be exactly the same. |
We should just agree on a design and commission some one to fabricate it....
I defer back to my original wanting a lip spoiler - not a wing. |
So the stock sport spoiler will not fit the vert??

Consider: The angle of the hatchback versus the angle of the Roadster trunk, and the shape of the surfaces. The hatchback on the Coupe angles upward almost immediately while the Roadster trunk is much more horizontal at that point. There are lines formed in the hatchback that are not on the trunk. The trunk has a double recurve (so to speak) similar to (but different from) the hood - almost the opposite in that the formed lines go inward/downward on the trunk rather than outward/upward as on the hood. It's also not as large/noticeable as the one on the hood. The line formed on the hatchback wraps around the window and leads to the third taillight. Really, based upon the shapes of the areas, I can't imagine the Coupe spoiler fitting on the Roadster. Of course, I've been wrong before, but I'm really not expecting it this time. |

I'm afraid I can't help you with the Amuse bumper. Whatcha see is what I got.
One of my photo albums has a couple of other pics that show the car from different angles. Two of 'em show different side angles of the spoiler. There are pics with the HDR fiddling and without. The HDR brings out the areas that are somewhat hidden by shadow. I'm sure there are other spoilers that can be used - "With a bigger hammer you can do anything", and all that. As far as Roadster specific spoilers, the duckbill at the beginning of the thread, and this one seem to be the choices. |
