Anyone having issues with top liner?

I'll take some pics tonight but just above the window on each side i have an issue. One side actually has a hole in it. If i put the top half way down I notice there are many sharp things along the path that the liner takes when going up and down. A few of them are wire ties and the cut ends are sharp. I've put electrical tape on some of that stuff but it doesn't seem to stay in place.

On the drivers side of ours, you can see the soft material hook on a wire tie end from one of the hydraulic motors as the top closes. It hooks on, then pops over it just as the top closes. Its creating a slight wear mark for sure and I am looking to soften its journey this spring (rotate wire tie, perhaps some electrical tape to smooth it over but that can be challenging to adhere depending on location). Sounds like you are seeing something similar.

That's exactly what happened to mine. I rotated the wire tie last fall but i guess the damage had already been done.

Is the issue near a seam? Just curious...

^ Nope

Dealership is going to replace my top whenever I want before my warranty is up next May. No reason to get it replaced yet as the hole is on the inside liner.
