Has anyone reported any steering wheel lock on the 2010 and above roadsters and what state the car was brought in.

I'm sure they use the same STW in all the 370's,what kind of problem are you having?

I think the question is "Has anyone seen a Steering Lock on a 2010 or above?" From what I've read on this site, the 2011+ models aren't supposed to have a SLU. But the more I look at the initial post, the less sure I am. :)

No, i worded the question correctly. I have not read of roadstars having many steering lock problems because of the year they were build. I ask my nissan's dealer where i brought the car and he knew nothing of the problem in norfolk, va beach area. He thought the problem could be in the region where the steering wheel lock parts where builded. I have not had a problem with my steering wheel lock, just wondering. Is this repair covered in the warrenty? I will just remove the fuse after the warrenty ends... I garage my car and don't park in bad parts of town.

If you are under warranty when it happens yeah your covered, most dealer don't know anything like the things we discuss here so it not uncommon to hear that they don't know anything.

Why wait to remove the fuse,me and Dai were the ones that found this out and made the thread if you pull it you don't have to worry about it.

2010 - build date late 09

Started getting tell-tell signs that it was about to fail. Pulled the fuse and haven't had a "no key" warning light since.

I don't believe region or area has anything to do with it!

Yes- Just had my roadster fixed under warranty (rev C locked- replaced with rev D).

Now have the bypass cable installed

well that settle's it, pull the plug...i mean fuse! How many miles did you have on her and what state are you located in? I have the rev C to; i thought the D was the solution to the problem. What was the solution for the 2013; replacing with a D or another configeration of the steering lock system itself?

The "D" was the last revision, the 12-13 don't have the steering lock

2010 roadster- Car locked on me last month! The worst part is.... i put my top down using the door handle, but when i got inside the car, car was seized with my top down, took dealer 2 weeks to fix .. oh and it took two tow trucks to tow the dropped z out my driveway. ! Car past warranty but lucky me they couldnt see the milage so went ahead and wrote down my car was still under warranty and fixed it.
