Got my Roadster! Need some help....

I just picked up a 2010 Roadster Platinum Graphite Auto :happydance:

It is a CPO from Nissan with 18k miles on it and all I can say... It brings a smile to face every time I drive it :driving:

One small problem I am hoping someone could shed some light on....

Everytime I close the top about half way through I hear a LOUD Single POP! As if something got stuck and it pops to release??

Is this normal or has anyone come across this issue?

Thanks :tiphat:

Did you check if the plastic hatch cover hits the soft-top assembly momentarily when the top is being closed? If it does, that makes a similar noise too. You might need to take it back to the dealer for adjustments.

I have one and test drove many. They all do that

there is a point where the roof basically unfolds and changes direction - kind of hard to describe.. the fabric makes a noise as it flips - but i wouldnt call it a 'pop'

I will have someone else close it and I will watch or film it with my iPhone to see if I can pinpoint where it pops... It is definitely a loud thump/pop single noise.

I appreciate your feedback

Again, they all do that. nothing to worry about. The hydralics are set up to fold/unfold at certain points. Its not a flow type of system...YET!

Yup. No worries. The rear part of the roof plops down at midway point and makes a loud thump/clunk sound. It is rather disconcerting when you first hear it.
