Almost bought a FI w/18" resonators but decided it was too loud for my taste. Which exhaust are a little quieter than FI?

I'm still really happy with the Berk. It's not really noticeable while cruising or on the highway, but it comes alive as soon as you push it. It does make me speed up a little faster than I normally would just so I can hear that sound...especially with the top down.

The only downside to the exhaust is that it weighs just about the same as the stock exhaust. I was hoping it would be a little weight savings.

Here's a vid I shot last year with a GoPro so it's slightly distorted but gives you and idea of what it's like right at the tips.

Thanks for the vid clip. Sound pretty good. Came across Injen exhaust and was wondering if anyone has had a good experience with it.

If the 18" FI is too loud you should get a used Nismo or stay stock. Every aftermarket exhaust I've heard is louder than the FI. You could also add HFCs to either to increase loudness some.

18

I wish there was more Injen exhaust reviews, definitely considering it but it is turning out to be very rare. Had an Injen exhaust on my 350z. Loved it except for the drone at 2k in 5th. Anyone what to gamble? Donation, and I'll buy, review, post, and make the world a better place?

Stillen

Just picked up the stillen, I haven't had a chance to really test it,, raining the next few days. But on the short ride home from the installer I could immediately hear and feel a difference. No unwanted sounds at all. I had been contemplation which system I wanted and I can't be more happier.

I did the TopSpeed TI look catbacks with ART pipes. It is not bad below 3k rpm but will wake the dead with your foot down.. I Love It!!

I have had numerous people ask what brand at the lights and constantly get thumbs up.

FI 18" CBE. Installed for a couple weeks and I am impressed. Really loud exhausts are not my style and is one reason I love this setup.

Ark Grip, deep drone at low rpm and quiet on highway cruising.

I would like an affordable solution to just get a little more sound (I don't necessarily need a full system to gain power, just want to be able to hear it a bit). I'm not saying I want to just drill holes in my exhaust, I just want a little more sound that is pretty simple to install and won't break the bank.

After-market exhaust on the Roadster?

GTHaus is over kill then. Maybe just get test pipes?
