Reduced bubble butt effect

I think the spoiler for our vehicles has got to become an option. I've added one to mine and think that it changed the complete profile of the car!

Felix 808 02-04-2012 02:02 PM

Pics would be nice as :worthless: ;) What type of spoiler did you add?

ydg27g 02-04-2012 02:04 PM

AGREED^^^^ pics please?

bigsix 02-04-2012 02:18 PM

Haha! Loving the thread title. OP definitely looks as tho the straight horizontal line of the spoiler in a way cuts the curvature of our vehicles rear end. Also loving the contrast of roof with the black!

yartb 02-06-2012 09:42 AM

Thx!

LakeShow 02-06-2012 09:50 AM

:iagree: I thought it was NSFW.

Cmike2780 02-06-2012 01:25 PM

Looks good. Although I still think the coupe's profile flows better. I dunno, the roofline of the roadster never looked right to me. Got any picks with the top down?

I like your fitment!
What specs did you go with?

jazz 05-03-2012 12:07 PM

20x 9.5 et20, 20x 11et15. the offset might of changed as i did the wilwood brakes.

yartb 05-06-2012 02:41 PM

Nice!!

jazz 05-14-2012 09:00 AM

im getting a bit of rubbing on the front drivers side on the big bumps...might bring it up 1/2 inch all the way around.

Your fitment is perfect... I would say the rotors changed the offset slightly as your 9.5+20 and 11+15 are WAYYY more aggressive looking then what i have see for those sizes.

What tire sizes are you rocking?

One of the best convertible Z's i have seen FYI!! Looks amazing!

thanks man!!

the wilwoods are thicker so the offset is off. but still loving it! i think im going to add a 1/4-2/4 inch to stop the rubbing issue. its only rubbing in the front drivers side...just a tweek and its rocking!!

fronts are 265/35/20 rears are 305/25/20

jazz 05-14-2012 01:34 PM

vote for me on cardomain, i should be doing better then i am!

Yeah i had Wilwood front brakes on my 350Z loved em!

Check and see where its rubbing.. I had rubbing issues and it was simply a screw on the inside of the fender... There is 3 and i removed the middle one and presto no rubbing :)
If you want to see about fender rubbing put a piece of painters tape on around the lip of the fender and if you get any black marks then fender rubbing.

Also if you have coilovers you may be able to adjust the dampening to be a little stiffer and stop the bounce where it may be rubbing on the rebound of the strut when you hit a bump...

Just some helpful tips to check so you dont go to nuts with adjustments that take more then 15 minutes to do.
