Roadster rear window cleaning

Here's a new thought. The rear window on my new roadster has some smudges/streaks on the inside. How the heck does one get to it to clean it?

Similarly, how would one clean the rear shelf below the window? (bound to accumulate dust/dirt over time, and I can't think of a good way to access it).

All thoughts appreciated.

You can stop the top part way through the open/closed cycle & thereby access the ledge & I believe the window.

Just reach over the glass wind deflector and wipe away... As for cleaning the bottom, just get a shop vac and do the same...

Zigen5 - Just reach over the glass wind deflector and wipe away? You must be some sort of long-armed midget contortionist. Ha!

LoL... No, I just moved the sits forward and get in there...

I've tried to do that based on the same suggestion in a different post several months ago, but I can't see any access while the top is going up or down -- I'm not seeing any opening large enough to access the rear window. I just wipe it down over the wind deflector as Zigen5 suggested.

Well...I have two seats, but no "sits" that I know of - hee! Seriously...do you mean to say that you move the driver's seat forward and climb in behind it to clean the rear glass? I finally managed to clean mine with great effort (though rather successfully) by sitting backward with knees on the seats, and reaching over the wind deflector.

Nissan should have made the glass wind deflector removable or flip down.

I use those window cleaners as seen on TV with the microfiber and the handle. It works great on the car. Just an FYI

It is removable, you just have to push harder.

Arrrggg.... Yeah push it until it breaks... Its just a welcome seal for buying a roadster. You think Nissan would of though of that. I did the same thing, thinking I could wipe it down if I pushed the button half way. LoL, try tinting our back windows for a living... LoL
