161mph......not too bad!

I reckon it was only 250kph or less, the speedo over estimates the speed

when my speedo shows 100kph i'm actually doing 93kph...

In saying that I dream about taking the z down the autobahn

That the same speed to i got on my HR G35 sedan. But ours is locked at 260kmh, the speedo reads to 280kmh

I've been up to 230 km on the Autobahn in a BMW 5 Series, and then I started thinking about all the stuff that could go wrong (what if I blew a tire).

I have been to 155 mph in my z on the Autobahn. Its pretty smooth at that speed. I don't do it often cuz it will only result in death if some one makes a bad move.

That's impressive, the roadster has a lot more drag than the coupe. I would think the coupe could do 180+ without a governor??

Very nice . . . is the top speed electronically limited to ~ 160 mph for the 370z ? I'm curious to see if the Nismo can go faster than this . . . (with the extra power & body kit creating more downforce) . .

the max I have had my roadster so far is 133ish mph then I saw some traffic up ahead so I started slowing down:crying:

Drag limited I believe. I've had mine up to 215 kph on a GPS and got scared.............of getting a speeding ticket!:icon18:

Yeah, so you guys: Ajobie & IDZRVIT, both of you have topped out at 133 mph (215 kph= 133.3 mph)... Did the car feel out of breath yet at that speed ?

No, not one bit, I was going to keep pressing on and go faster but there was traffic ahead of me so i slowed down because of my own choice, im sure it would of had no problem reaching the governer

I wasn't topped out but I wasn't going to push my luck either in the area I was in. The car was handling well at that speed.
