Spare Tire Issue

Hi,
I tried searching for this but no joy.
When you need to use the spare where do you put the normal wheel. I had a flat and couldn’t get the normal wheel into the boot/trunk space.
Luckily I didn’t have a passenger so I used some carpet and put it on the seat.
I have standard wheels and tire sizes. It can’t be right it doesn’t fit in the boot/trunk??
What am I missing?
Thanks

I fitted a Nismo rear wheel/tire assembly in my trunk (boot) no problem. You have to place portion of tire/rim over the cross beam. Just place towels under and on top of rim. Actually, get good padding for top of rim, as it may hit rear glass if you hit a bump. (or go slow and clean roads)

Looks like OP’s car is a roadster.

I'm sure their is some type of road side assistant in Dubai as here in the U.S. so I would just have your Z towed to the nearest tire shop.

I wanted to take my spare out as I do the previously mentioned, but, I kept the spare in there since there is a trim piece that goes over the hooks down for the spare that help holds the carpet/trunk up so I can still put things in the back like groceries.

As it must be enjoying to have a Roadster Z space is quite limited. Definitely look into getting some kind of roadside assistance program ASAP and have a tire bag just in case.

Brilliant. Hadn’t seen that. I’ve got roadside cover, but it’s a simple thing to change a tire and drive to garage to sort. Now I know where to put it. Hopefully my pax will only be 5’5 so they fit in with seat forward :rofl2:
