Bent convertible top frame

I’ve seen a tsb on this but I can’t seem to find it. This metal bracket is bent too far open. How do I straighten it without breaking the frame?

Not sure why the picture tilted. The is on the passenger side.

Prodjay10,
When you write that the picture is tilted .. in which way? I don't think that anyone can visualize what you are pointing at or where the actual issue is. New pictures from a distance, showing a section of the car, can give us reference, as well as closer in pictures at stages and from a different direction or two could allow us possibly to understand the problem and comment. A picture of the other side's frame, would allow us to compare the two? |
I will post more pictures tomorrow.
The part that is bent sits behind the seat head rest or upper part of the seat belt when the top is closed. In the picture you can see that flap that closes when the top is open(stowed). |

Right here. The first picture is rotated 90* to the left.

Still a bit difficult to determine which bracket this is. I know the general area where that plastic flap folds down when the top is open. Ill check mine out later this morning and compare it with your pics. Other than trying to straighten the bracket, have you tried to see if theres a replacement part available?

This is what I was looking for. Maybe Nissan does sell just that part but I was able to remove and straighten.
