Top Warning Sound in Cold Weather!
Wow, what a rarity that San Diego drops down into the 50s...That being said, what a surprise to hear the roof warning light and sound come on when I started the car one morning when it was 50 degrees!
My top has not worked now for almost a year, and as most of you know, there is no solution on how to fix it, so I've lived without a "convertible". It is just so strange that the signal comes on when the car is cold, and then later in the day, the sound and warning light go away. Creepy! :) |
I suddenly have the top warning light and alarm going off when the top is up. It is very annoying. It goes off for a while then comes back on while I drive. I have opened the top partially to see if I could spot a sensor or switch that because of the cool weather now might have come out of alignment or something??? I am looking to see if anyone has had any luck getting it taken care of. Someone said to disconnect the neg terminal of the battery for 10-15 minutes to see if the system would reset itself. I also heard that it did not work so...

As SouthArk mentioned above there is a whole section on the roadster roof, you can check it out here https://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/370Z/Coupe/2010/RF.pdf |
