2016 sport touring convertable spare tire

As everyone knows, the rag top usually does not come with a spare tire. I hear that some rag tops do come with spare tires. Can someone who has a spare in their rag top take pictures of their trunk area. I want to determine what to buy to be correct. I have an 18 inch spare and jack already but need to determine what foam I need to get. I don't have the sub woofer in my trunk.
If you check the pictures attached I think I need to remove item 15 (84900M) and buy item 14 (84978W). don't know if I also need to get item 13 (84978)
Thanks for your time

Hey, I did this when I bought my Roadster last November. When you remove #15 the tire just fits in there. There is also already a place for the tools and jack in the foam that is already in the car, I think. You don't actually have to buy #14 unless you really want it. It all works well without it. I just bought the tire and tools from ebay. You do need the screw clamp that holds the tire in place though.

There are some pics here...

Also, instead of the foam (#14), I put the compressor and fix-a-flat that came with the car inside the spare.

Not sure...maybe it's already in there? I know I didn't have to order it, lol!

One thing to think about is where do you put the tire that is taken off? It won't fit in the trunk. The manual says that it can be put behind the passenger seat.

I don't know about any of you but I don't want to put that big dirty thing anywhere in my cockpit. I won't use the crap you pump into the tire that comes with the Z either. I haven't had a flat with the Z yet but when I do I'm just going to call roadside service & have them transport it to a place that can fix it.

Just my 2 cents Dan

I agree, two weeks ago I did the tail of the dragon on the way to ZCON and a friend lost a tire and he did not have a spare what a headache. With a spare you can get the car off the road and loaded on a flat bed if required. And it would be hard to decide take the wheel or the wife in the passenger seat. ( only kidding)

I put a couple of giant plastic leaf/garbage bags in my trunk to put the dirty rim in when/if I stick it behind the passenger seat. Cars with spares actually come with a plastic bag to wrap it in.
