Window roll down/up feature on door open

Hiya, this post is relative to this thread.

Having had the above problem and reset and ECU AND reset the hood up sensor I now have this niggle left over. When I open either door, the window rolls down an inch as it should, but does not roll up again. If I open and shut the door repeatedly this continues to happen until the window is down completely.

Nissan did an ECU reset (and more) the last time they had it and this issue went away so I know it is a control issue somewhere as opposed to fault.

Has anyone experienced this or does anyone know where this is controlled from?

Thanks

There is a thread on re-timing the windows; you have to get in car, close door & roll window down & then when you roll back up...continue holding up on the switch for a few seconds.
I’m thinking that’s correct from memory.

Search for "window reset" for more details.

Window reset like others have said. Another thing youll notice that indicates you need to do a window reset, is that the windows wont automatically roll up or down when you hold the switch up or down for a second.
Turn on the car without starting the engine, roll the window down all the way, then hold the window switch down for about 5 seconds. Roll the window up all the way, let go of the switch then hold the window switch up for about 5 seconds. Youll hear a click. Youll find that the window doesnt respond right after doing this. Itll take about ten seconds before they start working again.
Then do the same for the other window.

Thanks for the responses.

Yep, windows now fine. Sincere apologies for not searching first thanks for being gentle with the new member and not digitally tearing me a new one for it.
