Roadster, Which Spare Tire?

I have the Touring package with the stock 19" wheels. I'd like to have a 370Z spare around to take with me on longer trips. Will the spare for a 19" 370 Coupe fit in the Roadster trunk?

Yes, it will, my Roadster came without a spare and I wanted a spare for a similar reason.

You'll just pull out the foam insert and replace it with the wheel. There is a additional foam thing that provides some support though I'm not sure how critical it is since I have a spare in my trunk without it and it works fine for me.

You'll need the 18" Enkei wheel version of the spare (the aluminum wheel, not the steel wheel) if you have the sport package to clear the bigger brakes.

I've got an Enkei spare I offered to the Roadster guys in this section a while back if they wanted to come pick it up from me (The wheel is definitely nicked up but totally functional). I live in Los Angeles if you are ever coming through this area and interested.

Thank you for the reply and the offer. I don't have the sport package, would your 18" spare work? I would be interested in getting it, if so.

As I don't want to claim something absolutely accurate, here's the information I have:

Both versions of the spare tire have the same bolt pattern and very close to the same outer tire diameter. Additionally, at various times during my ownership of my Roadster, I've mounted both the 17" steel wheel spare and the 18" aluminum wheel spare on my car to check fitment.

To my knowledge, the coupe and roadster versions that came equipped with 19" wheels and a spare tire were equipped with the 18" Enkei aluminum spare.

Given you have 19" wheels and the above information, I think it would fit.

YMMV

Perfect. I will be over there in four weeks or so, I will stay in touch. But I want to pay you something for your trouble, if nothing else. Thanks.

I sent you a PM with my contact information to help facilitate communications as I'm not always on the forum.

Added pictures to show the wheel with the nicks, and after I touched it up. Happy to take something for my time, appreciate the offer.

The spare has gone to a new home with a recommended forum member. Good luck with the 370Z project!
