Hey everyone, I might be selling the Z. What would be a good starting price if I sell it as is.

Vossen Rims
Stance Coils
Short Shifter
72k Miles
Super Clean!

Looks to be a non sport model and I'm guessing it's just a base model?? You won't be happy with what it's worth now. I haven't been very happy with the 370's resell value. My nismo held its value much better when I had it. (Never should have sold it)

Its a base model!

I think I'm just going to keep it then, I don't really drive it.

The resale sucks that's for sure. Keep it or burn it.

I'm in the same boat here. Any money on mods is basically irrelevant for resale value unless you can find a real enthusiast who wants the car.

kbb.com and Edmunds.com will give you a rough idea on value, but expect to knock a few thousand off the quoted prices. The market is really soft for Z's until they drop into the sub-$20k range.

If it helps, I just picked up my stock 2010 Touring/Sport with 24k miles for $20k.

For our area they usually go for around 17-19K. With your mods MIght look into getting 15K unless like you find an enthusiasts.

the Z is a great looking car, love it, use it, drive it, but as all has said the resale is not the greatest, probably my biggest disappointment... And lowering the price of the base Z did not help either..
I bought the Z new, because 1) black cherry, wanted that color 2) It had been about 20 years since buying a new car, so I wanted that new car smell

To give you another reference, (So Cal area) I just bought my 2009 370z with 50k miles, base sport package for $19,000. It had slight mods as well. Slotted rotors, catback exhaust, and k&n drop in air filters.

Put it back to stock and sell your mods. You will lose too much money and some people are funny about buying a car with mods thinking you drag race or track the car every day.

Riptide67 01-13-2015 02:56 PM

You'd end up better parting the car and going back to stock.

Mythic 01-15-2015 11:04 AM

I just picked up a 2010 bone stock Nismo with 15,600 miles for $25k. Prices are down if you look enough

ZeroZeta 01-16-2015 03:43 PM

Beautiful car Ryan. I hope you end up keeping it.
