Military Discount...good deal?

Ordering online. Deal specifically for soldiers deployed overseas.

I plan on ordering 2010 Pearl White, Persimmon interior, Touring. Floor mats, Illuminated kick plates. $33,604 for everything, not including Tax title, license.

She also says if i find a quote cheaper than she can offer, I can jsut send it to her, and she will beat it by $200.

Any help guys?:-)

they might. I know there is a way, but it takes a while. They will also pay for school in itself

TL370Z 10-08-2009 03:55 PM

yeha i'm currently @ drexel w/like over 150k in debt by the time i graduate and i think joining the army would be the best way for me to pay it all off haha, and just the experience would be exciting.

Red370 10-08-2009 04:02 PM

I spent 2 years as a career counselor, currently a Staff Sergeant promotable, there is a loan payback program, however, there are no additional incentives other than that, bonus, choice of station, etc. The experience has been a good one, I make damn good money for what I do, no regrets. If you have any questions, lemme know. BTW Sarge, damn good deal, jump on it ASAP, paid cash for mine straight up after my last deployment.

jerkey 10-08-2009 04:17 PM

Hey ask her if you get the vehicle tax free. If she says yes, then she is lying to you bro. As for all of you who want to join the military take it from me, ive done 4 1/2 years in the Marines as i stand now, life has sucked pretty bad for the past few years due to the war, but now that its slowing down, it is getting a little better and the GI bill for college just got a hell of a lot better. If you have questions about joining send me an email. I will be a recruiter after i get back from this deployment.

No, I still have to pay tax title, and license when i receive the car. Thats a given.

I'm Army as well, and I paid cash as well. I'm enlisted and got deployed, so that's how.

Also - great deal, do it.

In all honesty, there's no difference between the two. When you get home, get you an 09' for a few grand less than invoice, and with the rest of your deployment money, mod the shyt out of it.

DooDooBrown 10-08-2009 06:40 PM

Awesome deal... I paid 35000 for mine out the door. Great deal, you deserve it, thank you for your service to our great country!

Red370 10-08-2009 06:56 PM

ha, deployments are shitty, especially when you get IED's once a week like we did, but it makes it all worth it when you get home to your family and 50 grand sitting in your bank account. :icon17:

who needs their hearing really? what? did you say something?

We are catching mortars every couple of days here. Last night sucked exceptionally.

My chu mate was gone on mission, I have egyptian cotton sheets, so you know my *** was sleeping buck naked. Then those alarms go off, Im tripping to find shorts knocking **** over i run outside with some shorts on backwards and inside out.
:bowrofl:
its funny now, seeing what the proper "uniform" is at the wee hours of the morning.

Anyway, Im going to call my bank, and see what they can do about financing!

We have an anti mortar system that is test fired all the time.

Just to give you a rough estimate at how accurate it is, It shot 1 out of 6 down, before they blew up on the ground.

Sucks!

I saw the word Touring, but not the word Sport. Makes a huge difference if you get the Sport Package or not. If that price includes the sport package then hell yeah go for it.

I just did a quote through USAA's car buying service and it's saying $35.6k (about 3k off MSRP) with the Sport Package.

Remove the Sport option and you're looking at $33k (2.5k off MSRP).

Keep in mind that the Auto is a little over $1000 more than the 6MT that I quoted.

>135I 10-10-2009 11:20 AM

Make sure you check out USAA car buying options might be able to get a better deal on there.

vipor 10-10-2009 11:26 AM

He made another post confirming that he was getting the Sport package and it looks like he's getting about $1000 additional discount beyond the USAA deal.
