2015 370Z - Can't have sport w/ leather?
 

Sorry if this is a repost, I did search first.

Configure a 2015 Z on Nissan USA's website.

Sport - same as before. All the "Sport" features we know and love.

Sport Tech - Adds Nav, Bose, HomeLink, etc. (Touring features from before) but retains cloth seats. This is basically "Sport+Touring" but with the base model seating surfaces.

Touring - Bose, Nav, Leather, etc. (same as before)

There are no options on the Touring model. You can't add Sport to a Touring model.

You can't add leather to a Sport Tech model.

WTF?

Another crazy thing I realized while at the dealership to buy a new one is that the new paint jobs are no longer metallic. Its just crappy regular paint. Look it up when you try to build the car. ie magnetic black metallic, is now just magnetic black no metallic.

Order the sport + touring?

Nissan does not allow this any longer. Monkeys now work at corporate apparently.

Thats what happens when the French are in charge...

You can no longer do sport+touring, if you want the sport package with leather you must move up to the Nismo model.
Sucks and is stupid, but just another way Nissan is pushing the Nismo into more hands the wrong way.

Thank God for my 2011 Touring with leather and Sports Package with synchro rev manual :ugh2::driving::tup:

Seriously... I'm happy I got the touring + SRM with it...

the real question is does the new touring come with SRM?

Not unless you get the sport package which is in the Nismo trim.
SRM is only with the Sport Package (or Nismo).

i think our resale values should go up based on this lol :stirthepot:
