That sounds exactly like my Z which I got for slightly more than that 4 months or so ago (before the manufacturer's rebates came out). I would think you could do better at this time of year.

daveb91 07-21-2014 11:05 PM

That's pretty good just picked one up and 0% financing!

j0nnybananas 07-22-2014 07:13 PM

Sounds like a pretty good deal. Picked mine up last month for $35,000 out the door.

mab864 07-22-2014 11:34 PM

Do it... Do it.

fire165 07-23-2014 11:45 AM

Sounds like a "good deal" for the price.
Get the 0% to make it a sweet deal.

hey I remember you posting in my buy thread haha. I ended up getting mine in Rosenberg right outside of Houston, while I live in Austin.

peleincubus 07-23-2014 02:10 PM

It is a bit of a long story. But as I stated in the first post I planned on getting the base model but when I arrived it was not there. So they gave me a deal on the white sport model they had.

But to be clear it was 34500 OTD. 2014 auto

Sport option
Floor/trunk mats
Mud guards
Wheel locks
Tint

Only thing missing oem that I want are the kick plates and leather seats. Kick plates are easy to get leather seats not so much.

This is the post I made with what I got. What would ttl be on 32,885 ??

Well... I looked it up it would be 2,300. So... That would be $35,200 so that is a marginal difference.

Maybe try calling Rosenberg nissan and tell them you have a friend that got a 2014 model sport last November and see if they can do that price again and go from there.

jhtran13 07-28-2014 05:11 PM

Best way to do that is to say your price and stick to it. Let the sale man know if he wants to make money today is the day as long as he accepts your price. If not leave. Usually within a day or two they call back.

That is a sweet looking car. I never understood why Nissan didn't make the door handles the same color as the body.

Well at least you didn't get screwed buying the 13 on back with the 3k price drop on the Z's. Also being 23 have you priced insurance? This may be more than your car note unless you can get your parents to help. No offense intended.

Tadpole 07-28-2014 08:35 PM

Yea buy gurneyeagles Z!

I bought my '09 new '09 at 21 y.o. and my insurance went down compared to my '06 RSX-S I bought new at 18 y.o., so from my experience, at least in my area, its not bad at all.

NoLaKrewe 07-28-2014 09:26 PM

When I tried insurance on the 350 when I was 21 it was 480 a month

Welcome to New Orleans

Tadpole 07-29-2014 05:48 AM

The reason your insurance went down is because you bought an older car. Get some quotes before you take the plunge. I'm paying 114 a month and I'm damn near 50 years old. Good luck!

Me? No, I bought a new RSX-S in 2006, then traded it for a new 2009 Z, and my ins went from 175 to 150 a month, and that was for 100/300 coverage. The ins on this car isn't bad by a long shot comparatively speaking to other cars, although there are a plethora of other criteria that determine ins rates.

Tadpole 07-29-2014 07:59 AM

Well it sounds like you have your head on straight and know what you are doing. Get the Z and enjoy the little beast!

jhtran13 07-29-2014 08:03 AM

well i have to check with the insurance agent lol

fire165 04-24-2015 12:48 PM

^^Did you ever get the Z?

deftoneZ 05-08-2015 12:19 AM

buy this one in Tennessee instead

2014 Base with Sport + 7AT in Magma Red like you were looking at.. only has 1400 miles on it so basically still new. Clean carfax and the dealer only wants 26748 for it. 6k cheaper than the original one you were looking at.
