Whats the best discount for a 2014 370Z coupe

My friend needs a Car since his went up in smoke (fire}
I have showed him a few cars from Mustangs ,Camaros and Challengers.
But he likes the 370Z
Just wondering whats the best discount I should ask for.
I know many cars are going under Invoice and also its about 2 - 3 months that the 2015s will be out.
Thinking maybe he should be able to get this car for $3000 - $4000 off of Msrp for about $26000 - $27000.Thanks alllll......JT

maybe a base demo

cooltoy 07-01-2014 09:34 PM

I got $6000 off MSRP.

Not wanting a Demo but within 2 months the 2015s will be out and he cannot wait 2 months.
There are a few local dealers that have the 370Zs (Basic}
and on the internet they are asking $30,400(think invoice should be around $28,000}
and maybe some sort of a discount?.......JT

Pricing is per supply and demand and Nissan usually doesn't put any incentives on 370's. If a dealer has one on his lot and doesn't have to order or trade with another dealer, and you're not trading something in, you'll get the best deal. This is close to the end of the model year so he has that going for him also. In these conditions I'd think $3k under list for a base coupe would be very good. If you were talking sport/touring/nav/roadster the discount would be a lot greater, maybe as much as $6k.

In March, I picked up a 2014 Touring Sport for $37K, (with Homelink/rearview camera, splash guards, floor mats, trunk mat, and lighted sills). That is a little over $3.5K under MSRP. Ask for invoice pricing or less. They can't afford to keep them around forever.

I thought the 2015's were supposed to hitting showrooms sometime this month? I guess that is just the 2015 Nismo?

You can buy below invoice (which is roughly 29,200 including destination) but it's not like you're gonna buy for $3K below invoice unless the car is a dog.

Discounts

I have a 2014 Roadster fully loaded (Navigation and sports packages) and I got $7,500 (Canadian) off the MSRP on a discount - $4,000 because I paid cash and another $3,500 because I am a civil servant.
Maybe these could apply to your friend?

I got my 2014 in March for $37,700, coupe/Touring w/ Sport package and Navigation. Price included bringing it by car hauler to central Minnesota from some place south of Chicago, and then actual delivery 90 miles (180 round trip) to my door and hauling my trade-in back (end of lease return). Very pleased with the deal and especially the customer service.

My new car had 48 miles on it. I got a hefty discount and my out the door price was less than sticker.

I bought brand new 2014 touring with sport and nav last month. Every option including illuminated kick plates and it was $35000, over $7000 off. Even after holdback, which is around $1200 on that car, they took a $1700 loss if I believe the paperwork I was shown on it. Also got 0% interest for 5 years.
