I didn't think that it would make a weight difference by much. |

around $35k

i dunno guys. you really think they will be marked up? yeah i know there is always a dealer that will do it but im guessing for the most part i would hope you wont have to pay mark ups. i mean its mass produced and is perceived as an evolution of an existing model by most.

I don't think the weight difference will be that much either, after reading the spec sheet, but every little bit adds up, know what I mean? I'm in this specifically for power/weight and smiles/mile, so I don't need satnav or anything else that's not core to the 370z. 50lbs (approx what the weight difference between the Base and Touring is) isn't much, but it's 50lbs I don't need. On another note, I wouldn't be too terribly surprised if the Z is marked up at least at the beginning. I saw the STI and Lan-Evo marked up in my hometown, the dealers called it something like a "Geographical Market Adjustment"... that's as BS as it comes. The mark-ups won't last long, but they'll be there at the beginning. Just wait it out. S. |
I would say $35K is going to be the average for the 370Z
|
I think I may be willing to raise my threshold to $35k based off of the content and features in this car.

I'm praying for Sports + Touring Trim = Under 38,000

Hmm, I really want the touring, considering it has a much better stereo system, and a direct iPod interface (control ipod through the stock headunit), as well as the hands-free bluetooth, for when you need to answer phone calls while racing at the track lol.... Sport package might be nice too, but it will probably jack the price up about 3-4k. I guess I can live without most of that stuff and then add parts that I need separately later down the road (spoilers, wheels etc).

dam january 09 cant wait, you guys think its going to to be around 35k fully loaded? Would things be cheaper when it first comes out or after if you wait?
|
I think the MSRP will hold steady throughout the year but as the year goes along, and the 370z becomes less of the "hot new sports car", dealers will be more willing to negotiate on the price. IMO.
I also think a fully loaded, touring with navi package and sport package will be in between $35k and $36k. |
I'm betting on 35K I have cash in hand and I want to walk in and drive out. I know what I want, and I have no problem waiting a little longer if the dealers start monkeying too much with prices.
Just remember driving it out of the lot depreciates it by a couple grand right off the bat. Used is a relative term. :D |
