dam january 09 cant wait, you guys think its going to to be around 35k fully loaded? Would things be cheaper when it first comes out or after if you wait?

dutty370Z 11-21-2008 07:01 AM

I think the MSRP will hold steady throughout the year but as the year goes along, and the 370z becomes less of the "hot new sports car", dealers will be more willing to negotiate on the price. IMO.

I also think a fully loaded, touring with navi package and sport package will be in between $35k and $36k.

BanningZ 11-22-2008 12:05 PM

I'm betting on 35K I have cash in hand and I want to walk in and drive out. I know what I want, and I have no problem waiting a little longer if the dealers start monkeying too much with prices.

Just remember driving it out of the lot depreciates it by a couple grand right off the bat.

Used is a relative term. :D

I think a fully loaded touring with nav and sport package will be $37k to $38k.... I'll be pleasantly surprised if the car is cheaper than this fully loaded.

agreed. Base price is 29,900 but by the time you add all the goodies, it'll be pretty expansive. Some prefer to get all the options which is good. But other buy the base and start modding. Base with sports package will probably be the best selling configuration.

Looking for a Reasonable Southeast Dealer

Sunday, I went in to a local dealer with cash in hand to try and order a 370Z with the sport package and maybe the Bose audio. The sales manager tried to jack up the price to $5000 over list and wouldn't even divulge the cost of the options. I fired off an email to nissanusa.com expressing my displeasure.

Anybody know of a Florida dealer willing to order me a car for list?

Mythos219 12-19-2008 09:06 AM

I'm interested in a fully loaded one sans rear spoiler and I'm not gonna pay more than MSRP which means I'm gonna have to wait a while. The need for a new car isn't urgent right now and I'm holding onto the hope that in 1-2 years Nissan will put the fuel cluster back to a guage style readout and they will also replace the door handles with GT-R style ones. Might not be realistic expectations but I'll wait and see.

LynxFX 12-19-2008 09:12 PM

I'm hoping for a fully loaded touring model for $35k. Hopefully USAA will help out in that reguard. Right now they list an 08 grand touring with navigation for under $34k or a Nismo for $35k. Of course I'll be looking at around June to purchase.

purplehaiz 12-21-2008 11:54 PM

I stopped in the nissan dealer this past week ready to order, told him what I wanted, color white or blue, touring model with navigation & sport package, pretty much fully loaded, after going through that was told "we don't know the pricing yet, but you can still place your order". I let the sales manager know if he couldn't put me in this car for 34K not to bother calling me back. I'm in no rush to get the car, I can wait til later in the year or next year if needed when the hype wears off. I see what the last of the 08's are going for so i'm definitely not falling for any dealer mark ups.

davidgaddy 12-22-2008 12:15 AM

Right I would have said 32000.

I'm in the Cincinnati area, I'd be willing to make the drive for the right price.

shumby 12-23-2008 01:52 AM

Hope to get it for 45K CAD

nogoodname 12-23-2008 09:18 AM

Did you go to Kings? I didn't bother yet because I figured they wouldn't know anything. We tend to get stuff pretty late here in cincy.

Let me know how your search goes, I'm looking for the exact same specs as you haha. Maybe we could work out a deal for 2? buy one get one half off? :icon17:

I called Kings, and went to Falhaber, by the way the salesman there (Falhaber) says they should be getting there 370Z in late February or early March as a 2010 model year. Has anyone else heard this?

Endgame 12-24-2008 08:19 AM

35k or a little less depending on how I work my magic. ; )

Same with me, or have it shipped to Albuquerque NM or something. I could make a few client calls and drive the new car home!!

I thought it was going to be a 2009 model?
February is impressive, I was expecting March/April for our area.

Touring + Sports package, pretty much fully loaded in white. No more than 37K. I'll have a 8-12K down. If they want to play games, I'll just drive away. There's a LOT of Nissan dealerships in Los Angeles. Most of which are STARVING to sell cars...

The GM dealership I bought 3 of my cars from fired all but 4 salesman because they can't sell anything. They've even sold a few cars at a hair over whole sale!!!

Los Angeles is expensive to live in, jobs aren't really available, and NOBODY is buying cars lately... Shouldn't be too hard to find a few dealerships here that will give me MSRP.

dutty370Z 12-31-2008 08:37 PM

I PLANNED on NOT paying over $35k for a Touring 7AT w/ Nav. BUT I was severely mistaken. It'll be closer to $40k... Might have to sell a couple toes on the black market to make up the difference...

Rising gas prices and increased production cost, how much are you willing to pay for the NIssan 370z?

Let's shoot for the second week in November....thoughts?

Just bought a 2013 Magma red 6spd + sports package, mats, splash guards, kick plates, & rear view camera mirror for $33,700. It was a dealer trade so an added cost to get the car here; they had a black exactly same setup they would have let me have for $33,000, but had to have the Magma Red.

So it's a base with sport pkg.? 33,700 + tax?

Yes, with the listed options. I know I probably could have gotten a 2014 for a bit less, but 0 percent interest sold me.
