Thinking about buying a 2014 370z Nismo
1 Attachment(s)
I've been looking for a car to buy for a couple months now and it looks like i'm going to end up buying a Nismo within the next couple of weeks. I found the exact one I was looking for at a dealership about 15 minutes away from my house. The only thing I'm worried about now is the price. I've been to the dealership 3 times and every time I talked to the salesman he said he cannot go lower than $43,429.00 which I find hard to believe. I'm just wondering what some of you paid for your Nismo's. I may just be acting cheap but I thought I could at least get it for a couple thousand less (maybe in the 40k-41k range). I will post a picture of everything I get with it and if you guys could give me a second opinion that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the quick replies guys you're awesome. I'm going to head back to the dealership in the next day or so now knowing around what price I should be able to get. I'll keep the thread updated on what ends up happening. Thanks again

Heres the new 2015 nismo 370z just announced today |
I would look into a nice low milage used Nismo. The Z's drop off pretty fast. You should be able to find a low milage car for around the low 30's. Just an option.

Not sure where you live, but our supporting vendor (Koeppel Nissan) can get you a great deal on a Nismo.
I got mine for 200 below invoice with a 1000 dollar rebate from a local dealership, I don't believe that deal can be replicated however. If you want the Tech, I'd suggest getting a used 370z touring with sport and Nav, you can get one for 35K with under 5K miles. If you want the look of the Nismo simply get the base, you won't miss the bose sound system with the stock radio. |
To add to my previous comment, the ride of the Nismo is a bit stiffer than the Sport package 370z. I feel as though the transmission shifts a bit differently and makes much less noise, although I can't explain why if it's the same transmission.
As much as I love my Nismo, you have to ask yourself are the features on the Nismo worth the 8K price increase versus a base with sport package. To me the answer was yes because I love the aesthetics of the Nismo especially the '14. |
Go to NADA and build your car with the specs that the car has on it. NADA will give you MSRP and invoice pricing. I used that to negotiate the price of my car. I bought a 2014 touring 2 months ago. I had to drive 480 miles out of state to get it but I got it for $2K under invoice. It was worth the drive.
Just a suggestion hope it helps in getting the price you want. |

The dealer sold a car to me for 200 below invoice and a 499 conveyance fee and they said they couldn't go any lower (I tried to petition for free maintenance for three years, but instead got one year). |
I got my 2014 nismo with Bose package, backup camera, illuminated kick plates and nismo mats for $40,500 + tax, tag and title.
