Dont understand pricing for this car

I've been trolling around here for months.... i'm thinking of getting a 370 but the pricing on these cars makes me crazy. I'm a Corvette guy and I fully understand how they price them but this car I don't get at all.
I've seen 09's asking $30k but then i've seen 13's asking the same thing. I've seen NISMO's for $30k as well. And not high mile cars either. I have a hard time thinking about spending $30 for a 2010/2011 when I see much newer cars for the same price. I'm also still semi new to this car and I assume the newer the car there will be improvements.
What I'm looking for is a Touring roadster with Nav around $25k-$27k can that be done?

Thanks

New, you'd be looking at something like $46K MSRP (w/o sport package). $27K is like $13-15K under invoice on that car.

sorry i was talking 09-10 not new. I see them with very low miles at times

I don't think you'll find any roadster for under 30k currently unless it's been driven a lot. in 2012, all roadsters came with the touring package. To give you an idea, 2011 Base Sport coupes just started dipping under 30k with around 10k miles. Verts run about $7k more and you want a touring model. It's going to take some time for it to depreciate or you just get insanely lucky.

ok thank you

But also remember 14 sports can now be invoiced for around 30k! A base for 27k. I'd never buy used and more so now with the price drops. In my eyes all used 370's just lost 3k on their prices! So OP you should totally be able to buy used one for what you seek now.

Used KBB to see a private party price on a fully loaded 2010 370Z convertible (nav, touring, sport package) 7AT with 30,000 miles and for one in very good condition is $29,500. I know there is the blackbook, but I'm not paying to get that price. I don't think used 370Z's are gonna take the $3k hit, but we'll see. With most Z's being a second car (verts more so) it will be difficult to find one for the price you want for at least another year, possibly two, unless it was driven a lot.

for $hits n giggles, I did a 2010 base convertible with a 6sb and 50,000 miles... Just under $25,000...

I'm talking cash in hand so I would think once the summer is done there will be deals and i'm willing to travel for the right one.

One of my friends is selling his 2011 370z black not a roadster pm if your interested. There's no harm in trying to make a deal with him

What do you want? Base + Sport, Sport + Touring, Nismo?

Keyo Racing 08-12-2013 08:50 PM

I'd like a 09-11 Roadster touring with Nav. Color doesn't matter to much however I did say once I'd never own another black car had a Black C4 in the 80's damn thing worked me to death....LOL

didn't really look into roadster pricing when i bought. but that'd be up there with low miles I think. maybe look at certified pre owned ones? i got mine fully loaded sport, nav, touring for 24k + ttl

Just went to a dealer in Ohio, and the 2014 sport was MSRP'd at $33,040, so
I'm not sure on the $30,000 sticker price you quoted.

Chuck33079 08-13-2013 07:23 AM

He said invoice, not sticker. There's always a few thousand dollar difference between the two.
