The Bose premium systems in the M35/45 sound amazing for a factory system, one of my favorite systems out there. I'd say it is on par with the Mark Levinson system in the Lexus LS460. You might want to check with the G37 guys who opted for premium sound, as it would likely be on a similar level to the 370Z Bose system. Not all Bose are "Blose" |
the difference in the G bose and Z bose is the Z will have a dedicated sub in the rear where as the G utilizes 2 10" in the doors. I must say I do like the driver audio stage design which focuses the sound for the driver.
|
Bose has always suffered from "blows." Bose really doesn't blow though, it sucks.

If the 370Z hits 40k fully loaded, im going to be disappointed. I was expecting 37k MAX for a fully loaded Z.

The G37 and the 370Z are nothing alike to me with the exception of some internals. :driving: |

^^ yeah, thats the whole point.....LOL
but the pricing of the Z is too close to the G IMO !! even though Nissan and Infiniti are the same brand, there should still be a price gap between Nissan and Infiniti. |
Z is a better sports car. G is a better luxury car. Different cars.

G coupe with all the premium and sport options plus nav comes out to almost $45K. So a 370z touring with sport and Nav coming in around $40K seems about right. To put this into perspective, the 300ZX was going for $40K in 96 when it was killed by Nissan. Taking inflation into account that's about $52,000 in today's dollars. Given that the 370Z is more performance and better tech for $40K fully loaded now its not a bad deal.
|
Yes different cars, but tell me what the G can do that the Z cant? Because I can tell you a few that the Z can and the G cant.
Maybe I'm just not informed enough about the options available on the G. Seems to me like interior quality and ride quality are up to par now? Do tell me if I'm wrong, I need to know these things... I didnt mean to say it was better, I just meant that I like it better. Sorry |

the G and Z are different beasts. The G has a more classy interior but it is suposed to the Z is a sports car it should ride ruff handel well be fast and have some goodies on the inside but not too much. The Z kicks A$$ in the market it is in it is exactly what it is suposed to be

The G can set it cruise and keep a steady traveling distance while the Z cannot lolz:rofl2: LCC for the win on long road trips. just picken |
Well, I don't want to pay 40K for a car, but the fact remains, I want the touring trim, sports package, navi, and even the floor mats!!! With 12K down, I'm looking at nearly 600/mo. But you GOTTA love the car you drive, right?
I figure it's worth it if I'm happy. Then about 4-5 months down the line, another 8K out of my pockets and I'm twin turbo'd! :D |
Yup that's the boat I'm in. I figured hey this will be my only and last new car.
|
Well I have a 2+2 a 03 mitsubishi eclipse spyder and I only put people in the back seat if I have to but it has to be a emergency. I will put somebody behind the passenger lol. But behind me im 6'1 and my knees almost touch the dash. If anything i use that back seat for storage more then anything lol
|
^^^ That's what the bigger trunk on the 2 seaters are for! :D
I have a 300zx and it's a 2 seater. I don't like the looks of the 2+2 and I don't want to give ANYONE the excuse to take my car anywhere... I'm not a limo service. My car gets driven less than 500 miles a month! :D I don't mind paying others gas $ as long as I'm not shuttling people around. Besides, I like the extra trunk space. |
for anyone interested in the touring with sports package just saw in a magazine it will be $37,460
|
^^^ Yep. I plan to spend a little more than that because I want the Navi too.

I was extremely disappointed with the 350z Bose system. Even with my very low expectations, I was still disappointed! The lame 10-inch "subwoofer" cannot play bass below 100 Hz. I have listened to the 370z Bose and I can confirm it is WORLDS better. It has a subwoofer enclosure that fits inside the rim of the spare tire, which plays down to about 50 Hz with authority. It appears to be a bandpass unit since there was no woofer visible (I could be wrong). likely it is a 4-inch or 5-inch bandpass unit and it puts out much more and lower bass than the 10-inch paper-plate woofer in the 350. I think the 370z bose is worth the $$ for those that do not want to go big for aftermarket and want to keep the weight down. I hope that helps... |
^^^ Awesome... Reps to you. That's exactly what I wanted to know. I figured that the woofer was IN the spare tire.

Anyone know why the hot off the press, Feb issue of C&D is claiming a start price of $30,625?
