Crap, another noob price question...
Greetings:
The last time that I negotiated the price on a car, was over 10 years ago, not sure if I still have it, but I have to think that I am doing ok. Here is what I have come up with; I realize that a lot of us ask "is it worth it," or "is it a fair price," and here it happens again :) I'm not in a rush, just not sure whether I should pull the trigger or not. 2013 Touring 6Spd Manual Sport Package / Nav Package Pearl White w/Grey Interior Splash Guards, Carpeted Mats, Illuminated Kick Plates etc. MSRP on the car as it sits is $46,283.00. On the table with a tank of fuel is $44,219.17 OTD in California. Tax and registration here is $3,456.00, so I'm thinking I'm ok at 41.2k and change... Any thoughts? Thanx in advance... Any thoughts? |
Not bad. Use the truecar price, and try to pay less than invoice, which I believe true car tells you

For God's sake, you're talking about $64! Buy it!

2013 nismo invoice is $40,182 .. so your invoice cant be right... i am on truecar.com now and 2013 touring w/ sport package and navi is invoiced at $35,027... kick plate and mats is easy to bargin for so dont add those on...

Btw, you can message any of the dealers that are on the forum just for a quote.
CA cars are usually more expensive because they have other extended warranties on BS things like cats and O2 sensors and little things. |

Truecar is a good place to look but it goes by region so people telling you it is cheaper might be looking in a different zip. Keep in mind if you are getting a car that is on the lot the dealer gets a 2.5% hold back from Nissan on the MSRP when they sell the car. So you should be able to get it a little bit below invoice. The dealer has to make money, seems like your in a good spot. |

Here is my actual sticker and actual contract (and a few pics of my baby)
2013 Pearl white touring, sport, Nav, 7AT, kick plates, wheel locks, airbag locks, trunk mat, floor mats drive out price 41900 0% for 60 too! I can show you how I did it. It's not hard you just have to be patient, persistent and be ready to walk no matter how bad you want the car. Here is the proof http://www.the370z.com/new-forum-mem...-deal-too.html |
