i think i saw close to 5 on the lot on Saturday night, 2 of which were exactly what i'm looking for and they've been there for a few months now.

why would he even say that to me then. knowing I dont want the cars with the other options. We literally were discussing prices, then he went into his computer to see that they didnt have my car

To sell you one on the lot. " I am sorry but there seems to be none out there, you know what I just thought of something follow me" - lead you right to the Z's outside with out saying anything. Atleast that's how I would have done it back in the day.

Just confirmed with Lou that there are no PG base + sports + 6mt in NY metro area.

Didn't mention any other colors tho..

I just had a PG base + sports + 6mt shipped into KC last week for me. (Sorry Lou, I actually think it was shipped from you, I didn't see your thread until it was too late!)

The cars are there. Maybe not near NYC, but they're out there somewhere. Problem is, that combo is one of the more rare ones that you'll still see sitting on the lot. PG is the most popular color, MT's, and Base + Sport are getting more rare by the day. I swear every dealer has a Blue AT Touring w/o sport that they try to pawn off on every person that even hints at buying a Z.

Anyway, if you can settle for something other than PG, I know there are still plenty around, I saw a red and a black on at dealers in my area. You may just need to expand your search area, or find a different dealer that will get you what you want.

Hell, my dealer tried to tell me they didn't make Base + Sport + 6MT. I mean, seriously? I know more about the car than your salespeople, and you're gonna throw that pile of poo at me? Miraculously, as I was getting ready to leave, they found exactly what I wanted, for the price I wanted. Normally I'd have told him to shove it, but...they let me take their Blue Touring out for an extended test drive, which no other dealer would let me do, so I have a soft spot for them.

But your car is out there. Just expand your search area. I'd have bought it from anywhere in the country to be honest, nothing like a long road trip home to get acquainted with it.
