future Nismo owner

Hello, I've decided to pull the cord on newborn 2013 370z nismo in gun metallic sometime next next week.
Full option(including backup and bose) ran an estimate of OTD ~ $46000 with invoice price.

I do not find any in Houston/Katy area, so most possibly factory order will be put.

I do not like the dealer haggle so much, so online quotes is probably the route I'll take.

do you think $46000 on a such rare combination brand new order is a win-win price?
I'm also a bit nervous that many dealers won't be too keen about factory orders.

Thanks for your help.

Damn that's a lot...

Sounds high to me. Here's what truecar.com has to say: 370Z Nismo

street2soul 12-26-2012 11:04 PM

target price as shown on truecars ~ $43592 + texas sales tax (6.25%)$2724 = $46316

even with truecar price, after sales tax it will cost more than $46,000

sales tax does impact alot..

If your happy with the price that is all that matters. Good luck hope you get your car!

I would try to haggle that price, get it down a couple K, if you cant and you like the Z, then by all means get it! :driving:

Factory order at invoice isn't a bad deal. But I wouldn't call it a great deal either. All depends on what you want and when you want it.

Wanting to avoid the haggle isn't going to work too much in your favor. You can only get so far with people via email. They know what you're doing and will only go so far that way.

I LITERALLY waited for years for the right deal. September of '11 found a 2011 Nismo w/ 1,700 miles on it for $33k. Couldn't be happier.

For what its worth and I know the 2013 has more options available but I bought my 2011 new for 41K flat out the door and it has the back up camera option and illuminated door sills. You should be able to drop them down a bit. Hope this helps.

thank you all for your help,
I walked into Champion Nissan, lowest they offered was OTD~$47394
pricey, I will look for more deals

I will say that having one built for you is a great experience. The only painful part is the wait!

street2soul 12-29-2012 08:00 PM

It'll be just like waiting for my custom ordered laptop that took 1 month delivery, but waiting for this one will be x1000 better!! can't wait for insomnia! haha :excited:

Honestly, if you can wait, wait a few months for them to not have such a hard on that these are 2013's... Also, call dealers in buttfúck random places, it's hard to sell a Nismo in Oklahoma, Kentucky, and hard to sell one in Michigan and Ohio with the snowy season...
Yeah, you'll either have to drive it back or ship it. But I bet you can get a much better deal on it
