thank you everyone for the help. Think im going to go with a touring. Sounds like it will be cheaper to add a spoiler and rims, then to add navigation and back up afterwards. Now comes the waiting game to get the right price. Also anyone know the invoice of the 2013? Cant wait to be a z owner and get rid of the 37

I got a 2012 sports, 6 speed, I added the the touring seats, and for bluetooth, just get a nice Navi hedunit........... problem solved....

You can pick up touring seats used for about $1000....

I came to this sight via my bookmarks. Good luck on your exams. It has been over 40 years since I graduated college and that was after 4 years active duty in the Marine Corps. I still remember study groups on weekends preparing for accounting tests - had a full time job and night classes at Loyola. Managed to finish in three and a half years by going year round.

so been dealing with the dealer. Seems like the best deal i can get is on a 2013 touring with manual and nav. My question is how important in the rev matching since i can not get it later on.

it's definitely a nifty feature, i wouldn't own a 370 that doesn't have it but that's just me...

Thank you because this has been scaring me bad. Only difference in touring is literally the seats bt and heat function. Is interior the exact same tho?

not nearly the same thing. OP I would definately go just sport. I kind of regret the Touring especially since I now want a set of recaros. SRM is about priceless and the big brakes and rays wheels are sweet. If you get bored of the rays you can sell them for about 1300ish and get whatever you want. The akebonos are extremely important to me. They really dial up the premium feel to the car.

You must consider that if you get any car it is a must to get a Limited-Slip Differential that comes in the sports package because that thing costs 1.5k if you buy one aftermarket + labor. This is half of the sport package price ~ 3k.

most people don't know how to do that properly, nor can many do it as fast or accurately as SRM

elmz 08-27-2012 08:59 AM

OP, no matter what you decide you'll always want what you don't have. But personally, I would go with the sport package over the touring. It's much easier and cheaper to upgrade your stereo system(with nav) and seats than it is to upgrade your brakes, wheel/tire, LSD, and spoiler later. SRM is not a must have but it's quite fun and convenient.

Decided to just try and get a fully loaded one and be done with it. I got a g37 base and worse decision I made. Hate the fact that a ford can do more then my car. And I don't know much about installs so would have to pay to have eveytjong installed so in the end cheaper to pay more upfront and just pay it monthly. Talking to one dealer about a 12 I hope I can get a steal on and got one dealer to 41 for a 13 that I'm trying to work on.
Thanks everyone for your help

My understanding is that you can't add nav after the fact for the touring with bose. It's a different wiring system and it will add another 2k. You have to add that at the factory. I'm in the same boat as you and already looked in to it... lol
