Found a dealer with a '10 Nismo, need offer numbers help!

SO yah, I am talking to a dealer that I found a red '10 nismo on auto trader. Run down on the car is looks in great condition no scratches etc. Car has full certified warranty from a nissan dealer so the car would be covered till its paid off! A win there. Only negative I can see is 36k miles on a '10 is quite high imo. Dealers asking 31.9k. I wana be fare but I feel I can go pretty low with those type of miles.

Please, tell me what would be a fair price to offer where they wont laugh me off or turn their noses up at me.

Thanks:tiphat:

According to KBB, suggested price for a similar vehicle in my zipcode is about $34K. For a little bit more, I would go with a 2012 base+sports package.

The KBB price I posted earlier is for a 2010 Nismo with 36k miles.

Should be in the mid to high 20's.

thats what im thinking as well. I better start at 27k and let them talk me up to the 28/29k range. I wont push anymore for a car with that many miles, just too many others on auto trader with far less.

let us know how it goes. I kinda doubt they will bite at 28k but maybeeeee 29 or 30

Price sounds high. FWTW, my '10 Roadster just turned 3K miles.

+1....... :iagree: I'm like F that price for a '10 with 36k miles on it. I say 25-28K..... Maybe pay 28k TOPS.

The price that I paid for my '12 Nismo with only 9 miles on it & all the options was 40.8k. Damn for 9k more you can get yourself a '12. Now if you said the '10 had 6k or 10k miles on it & the dealership wanted 31.9k, then that would be a different story.

As nepali stated get yourself a '12 base + sport package. You will only spend a couple to several thousand more & it is brand new.

yah no rush, i already own 2 cars but ive had my eye on the red nismos for awhile now. Thought that this car probably doesnt get too many bites because of the higher miles so I would like to try to get a bit lower just because of that issue. If not, no biggie, others are all over auto trader.

FairladyZ 05-03-2012 10:44 PM

I would pay 27k to get it aroudn 30k otd with those miles....

Just keep hamering them with the mileage.

Rui Z 05-03-2012 11:09 PM

Miles aren't that high. 30K miles for 2 years is average. I would say $27K is a great deal, $28K good deal, and $29K fair deal.

If I decide to sell my '12 Nismo, then I will come to you to buy. :hello:

It would be awesome or good to get the car for 28-30k OTD. That is not the only '10 Nismo out there.
