I paid $500 over invoice as well including the rear back up cam. Even paying for the car all cash up front they barely budged with the price.

Paying cash is of no importance to dealers, they prefer you finance because they make more money if you do.

True..... I know that they are not fond of the 0% interest either b/c there is no money to be made.

Well, I bought mine at invoice and financed with penfed. Didn't bother with nissan's finance department because they were offering a higher rate.

Exactly, if there are not any incentives from the manufacturer the job falls solely on the dealership to make the inventory sell. If there are strong enough in incentives the dealership won't typically sell hard to find cars at invoice, i.e. if you purchased an Altima right now you'd be well below invoice price because they are not rare and need them sold ASAP.

If you have USAA you can get a NISMO for less than invoice (-$4000 or so depending on area). Instead of getting the NISMO I got a Touring instead with the $4000 discount and 0% financing. The NISMO was too bare for what I wanted.

Still, a sale is a sale, yeah? and if it's all cash, there's less leg work and paper work. You gotta admit that's pretty convenient.

True. You would think that if they get NISMO Zs and/or GTRs in, that they would want to push to sell it. I mean it is not like they are selling like hotcakes or something, lol!

I picked up my Touring Coupe Wednesday (3 days ago) w/Sports/Nav/Camera for 40,053 (Invoice of 40,543 and MSRP was 44.090). Got the 0% interest.
