opinion on new 2012 car pricing 6mt base w/sport pkg
 

what kind of deals have you guys gotten who have bought new 6mt's with sport packages?

I'm considering a brand new 2012 6mt with the sport package only while nissan is offering 0% financing. local dealer located a silver 6mt w/sport package...only options are front/rear mats and splash guards. They showed me invoice $33,631.....

they can do $34,631 after all rebates/discounts. basically they are selling to to me for invoice plus $1000 ($400 dealer profit and The other $600 is to locate the car, stock the car into inventory, have it go through PreDelivery Preparation (Required by Nissan), State Inspection, and Documentation fee.)

dont pay anymore than invoice dealer still makes money at invoice, its called dealer holdback i actually had them locate me one and still got it at invoice and zero percent

Thanks... If I could get it at invoice that would sway my decision. Just out of curiosity, what dealership did you buy through where are they located? I'm in DFW , TX

Yeah a good deal is at least invoice for worst case and under invoice is ideal. The hold back for the Z is in the 1-2k range under invoice so they don't lose so much. Whenever you guys hear "I'm losing money on this deal" they are not lol.

Exactly. Otherwise, they probably wouldn't even sell to you in the first place.

Thanks all....in my case it looks like they won't move off $34,631 for the base w sport pkg 6mt I was quoted on....

just tell them you went to another dealer and told them your situation and they would sell you one at invoice say you only came back cause you would like to buy closer to home for the service

are these prices OTD after all the rebates and stuff?
