The car has just the touring package I'm pretty sure they're taking a pretty big hit no matter what what I think I'll do is go in today with my dad and haggle a bit if they can get the price down any then I'll walk I seen a black roadster that looked clean and if I get a deal today or on the other car I will most likely try to finance though one of my banks or USAA. That said I agree that the price they are asking is way to much. The way I see it the worse than can happen is that I'll have to wait a few months from now to get one used or just order one in the future.

I've been in your shoes in the past, and I regretted being so hasty. If I could do it over again I would have waited, but I learned from it.

Also any reason why you maybe interested in a roadster instead of a hardtop? Just curious.

Mainly because I never owned a convertable but I wouldn't mind a hard top. I went to the dealer about an hour ago and they wouldn't budge with the price for the car or the trade in so I pretty much told them good day and to call me if they chance their mind. I've been looking at a few other cars online so with very low mileage and from the pictures look really well maintained so I guess I'll do some more shopping around and see what I can find.

On another note it was extremely hard to give the keys back the 370z is a beast and I feel way more excited about it than I was about my accord so maybe I'll be able to find a better deal some place in the next few months.

I'm sure the salesman that was trying to sell me it is out of town and the GM just trying to strong arm me. They're really adamant about getting rid of it before the 2013 model comes out and as far as I know I'm the only one who's been this interested in months.

I wish I could but I just don't wanna pay that much a month I can pay it but I just rather not have to have some money in the bank for other fun things/emergencies.

I say keep in contact with the dealer, you never know sometimes they may lower the price, and send you a better offer next week. Meanwhile keep looking for other Zs as well like you mentioned, that way you have more options open.

Use cars.com, a really good site, where I found my Z. :tiphat:

Agreed. I found mine on there. Personally I think you should try to find a certified pre owned or a used that still has warranty would be the smarter buy. I would never ever buy a vert.. One more thing to worry about replacing over time.. Plus it looks horrid with the top up(no offense to vert owners). Not to mention, you will prob. Find a better deal on a coupe. One other thing.. If you care about limited slip, better brakes and the other goodies.. look for one with the sport package.. The only thing i regret is getting a touring base and not finding a sport touring..

ViktorAlkious 03-04-2012 07:03 PM

Yeah I have seen a few touring/sport for 25-31k on cars.com very attractive prices and really low mileage so I'll probably be giving a few more dealers a call in the near future.
