What do you all think?

Ok guys.. since this is the pricing section, I thought i'd get some input. As some of you might know, my Z is for sale because my Fiancee and I just bought a house and I need to get something with a lower payment. Actually, I won't be buying anything for a few months at least so we can get some money saved up.

Anyway. It's a 2011 6 speed base with sport package and now has 4900 miles. It's got the rear spoiler (I think that comes with the sport package) and it has the splash guards. I just washed the car the other day and I can't even find a stone chip anywhere.

I have the F.I. exhaust and ART pipes that have about 3k miles on the TP's and the exhaust has only been on since Sept.

Also, I toomk the car to Nissan the other day and while I am waiting to hear back from them, it looks like the car will have pretty much a new paint job because of that whole pearl white bumper not matching issue, as well as the splash guards.

I owe 34k on the car and am asking 32,5 for everything. I will have to eat the 1,500.00 on the car.

KBB has the car between 33,6 and 34, I was offered 29 on a trade, so I figure between the 2 with the top quality mods I have on the car my price is fair... am I wrong?

Hard to say since cars depreciate so much right off the lot. Also, the 2012s are coming in so the few 2011s that are left are probably going at discounted prices now. I just checked a site I use and got a quote for 32k for a 2011 new (before TTL, of course), if they have them in stock anyhow. Still, you have some nice mods on there that definitely help your cause. I'm not sure if TTL are charged either when privately sold, but if not, that could be a big benefit to you also. Anyhow, good luck with the same and the new home. I hope you can get back into a Z in the future.

thanks for the input... yeah, i'd like to keep the car... I wanted a Z for a long time, but I could cut 200.00 a month or something else, so it's hard to not want to have that extra money to use.

i'm sorry, but mods don't add any value to your car and i think your asking price is a little on the higher side considering you can get a new base mt w/ sport for around that price. you're gonna take a big hit especially since it's still so new and it drops pretty much instantly when you drive off the lot.

I know mods don't add value... but what they do add is for those who want to buy a Z and are planning on adding an exhaust at some point they have 2 of the top mods from the top companies for the 370z right off the bat AND at a discounted price.

dealers dont care for mods AT ALL. remove them and sell separately. otherwise dealers will count how much labor it would take to remove the bits and replace with factory.

it's just the way it is for car selling to dealers.

:iagree:

Mods add 0 value. Return the car to stock and sell the mods separately.
