Need advice on Nismo offer

Found someone selling a '10 Pearl White Nismo (color I want) near me (within 2 hours). He wanted 37,999. I talked him down to 35,750. He seemed very hesitant at this price lol.

Car has 3k miles and is immaculate. Is this a decent deal. I've seen Nismo's go for less on here but there are none on here currently, and trying to find one outside of this site is even harder than on it. Especially in my area. Also In order to get a decent price from on this forum I'd have to be logged in 24/7 as those things go quick on here.

I've been looking at cars for weeks and I'm just so tired of looking. Almost offered on lateralZ's car (which is an unreal deal IMO) but it came down to me wanting what I want, and that's a pearl white nismo.

Thoughts?

If you want to pay the right price and if there is no rush, just wait it out. Keep searching and bargaining for what you think you should pay. The right car will show up.

I think the price is decent. I'm not getting a "deal" but I'm also not getting screwed. KBB puts this car at above what I'm paying. The things that make the 1 or 2 grand more worth it for me are

1. The car is within 2 hours from me. It is not often that someone sells a Nismo near where I live. This saves me a shipping costs which can be from 600-1000 bucks, depending on location.

2. The color is right. Even if I find another one somewhere else in the country, it won't likely be the color I want.

3. NONE of the dealers close to me can find a Nismo to sell me new. Guess they are popular?

I'm going to check the car out tomorrow and drop a deposit on it while I get financed from my bank. If all goes well I should be driving it next weekend.

Show me a dealer selling one. Also MSRP is like 40 grand isn't it?

you should be paying invoice at most on a new one. I bought mine well under invoice.

Nvm, I'm in a catch 22. Need credit to get credit. Wife and I have fine credit scores and make enough money, the bank just said our credit history isn't long enough.

It's kinda funny how dumb creditors can be. If everyone had this philosophy no one would be able to get credit. Time to find a cosigner. Or give up and just save save save.

My big bank told me the same thing. Find all the credit unions in your area and compare auto loan percentages. I did this, was accepted, and got a way lower rate than a big, national bank would even offer. Just put in a tiny amount of effort and do the credit union thing
