Nissan requires a deposit on the GTR...but it's not required on any other vehicle.

It's a good faith and a commitment thing; but 10% is a little high. I would say at least 1K to be fair.

What about to just drive the GT-R? :stirthepot: I mean i'll bring it back with a full tank of gas. :icon17:

yeah I put a 500 deposit, and it ended up being my down payment

I put down $2000, which was the MAX the dealer would allow using a credit card. I wanted to use my card because I get 1% cash back, so I got a free $20 by using my card.

Just because there aren't many option on the Z, it doesn't mean it will sell. My dealer still has a 2010 cherry convertible sitting on the lot that they have had for almost 2 years and can't sell it. They had it when we bought my wife's Soul in February 2010, and it was still there as of 10/15/11. It's new, not used, and they just can't sell it. Crazy.

My dealer has a 2011 Silver Convertible in the show room floor. Had it for over a year can't sell. My guess is the Convertible is not a fast seller. Personally I do not like the look of the drop top at all.

I agree, i'm not a fan of it either. Same here in Houston, the roadsters are having a hard time selling.

Never put more than 500$. Roadsters sit in showrooms everywhere here in NY.

KaienZ34 11-03-2011 05:16 PM

Yeah i've only seen one vert here in town.
