Nissan requires a deposit on the GTR...but it's not required on any other vehicle.
It's a good faith and a commitment thing; but 10% is a little high. I would say at least 1K to be fair. |

yeah I put a 500 deposit, and it ended up being my down payment

I put down $2000, which was the MAX the dealer would allow using a credit card. I wanted to use my card because I get 1% cash back, so I got a free $20 by using my card.
Just because there aren't many option on the Z, it doesn't mean it will sell. My dealer still has a 2010 cherry convertible sitting on the lot that they have had for almost 2 years and can't sell it. They had it when we bought my wife's Soul in February 2010, and it was still there as of 10/15/11. It's new, not used, and they just can't sell it. Crazy. |
