2010 touring 6spd with sport and nav

Hey guys what should be the best offer for a new 2010 touring model 6spd in red with black leather interior. It also has the navigation package and the sport package along with the usual floor mats, kicker, mud flaps etc. The invoice with those items puts it at $36,780. What do you all think?

Red__Zed 08-29-2011 11:19 AM

I'd offer invoice.

new 2010>? invoice at most lol

I have been able to get as of now $800 under invoice which is exactly $36K. However I still think I could do better given in a few days this is a 2 year old car. Your thoughts?

time is of the essence...even though theyve had it for awhile, theres an increased chance theyll sell it now. online ads, email blasts, etc

This car is almost 2 years old! There is no way I would pay invoice when people can get 2011 for 500 or more below invoice. I say you should offer $34k and work your way up to $35k max. Even $35k is high.

I bought an almost identical car - brand new leftover 2010 with touring, nav, sport, mud flaps, floor mats. I paid $34.5k, which was over $2k off invoice.

I think that's around where you should be. That car has been sitting on the dealer lot for a year now, and they are paying to keep it there. They will want to move it.

The difference in price on the used market year-to-year is maybe $1,500, so you should be paying $1,500 less than what you can get a 2011 for.

Thanks guys I will make a 34K offer

Nothing like having one snatched out from under you.
